153 | Staying Peaceful and Centered in Christ During Divisive Election Season | Dr. Ioana Popa

It’s election season in the United States, and with so much inflammatory news and commentary, how can we stay peaceful and centered like Christ?

This is challenging because many people hold strong political views, and the news and comments can often inflame our emotions, raising our heart rates and pulling us away from that "peace that surpasses all understanding."

On top of this, social media algorithms are formed: the more we click, the more we are shown content that reinforces our views, our positions and choices become magnified and come back to us like an echo. And then we can get upset hearing the other side.

So how can we stay peaceful like Christ? Is there a psychological concept that can help us?

Today, I'll share this, along with insights from the Bible, as well as an amazing theological concept dating back centuries about the nature of God. These can help us stay strong in Christ during this season.
