21 | Two Mindset Upgrades to Avoid Burnout and Keep On Giving

Many compassionate human beings find themselves in situations where they are asked to do too much, or they voluntarily pick up doing much more, as others in their team, family, or community might do less.

While giving to others and doing what we are passionate about can be rewarding, it can sometimes become exhausting and overwhelming. When we do TOO MUCH, we might lose our balance and become burned out.

But there is HOPE! We are not stuck with doing 'too much.' There is a way we can be committed to giving and changing the world WITHOUT burnout!

In this episode, I bring awareness of 2 psychological phenomena:
1. a group dynamic which can keep us in the 'Cycle of doing too much'
2. a particular way of learning, which can give us some hope that change is possible in others.

Knowing them can help us with 2 conditioned mindsets - old stories we say to ourselves in the back of our minds.

And lastly, in this episode, I bring practical tips on how to set healthy boundaries around giving or work to avoid burnout, while we still do what we love and give to others!
