Christian Women: Embrace Your Age With Vitality and Purpose, with Allison McCune Davis

by Dr. Ioana Popa
As decades pass, things continue to shift in our lives as Christian Women: maybe in our roles at work, our family or church.
How does life look after many decades of living? Is aging something to be feared? And who are you at the core as a daughter of Christ, no matter the season?
Allison McCune Davis has contemplated questions like these and, eventually, when she turned 60, made the decision to embrace life with vitality and purpose.
Allison is an author, traditional naturopath, former TV producer, and mom of 5 who pursued an entrepreneurial business in the world of natural health for the last fourteen years while raising her family. With her new book, Sixty Is a Good Start: A Powerful Body, a Purposeful Life, and a Plan to Make it Happen, she advocates for reimagining life after sixty and inspires women to embrace aging as a time of opportunity, vitality, and purpose.
In our Renewal Conversation, we discussed:
✨ The importance of doing things aligned with our Core Values at all times.
✨ What it means to have a '60 as a good start'.
✨ Tips from Allison's book on daily healthy routines.
✨ Inspiration for authentic conversations with God (including Ioana's Pascal Wager moment with God).
Allison's favorite Bible verse is from Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV): "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
