Dr. Brook Sheehan

In this episode of Thriving in Christ Show, I sit down with chiropractor and functional health practitioner, Dr. Brook Sheehan, for a powerful conversation about the body - an area many Christian women unintentionally neglect while serving, leading, and striving.

Dr. Sheehan invites us to shift from “pushing through” to partnering with God’s design, reminding us that our bodies are not meant to be hacked, but honored, as we learn to be still, listen, and trust the wisdom God placed within us.

Together, Dr. Brook and I discuss:
☀️ Her journey of faith, love and pain that steered her back towards Christ.
☀️ The importance of honoring your body as a way to prevent burnout.
☀️ The pillars of health she teaches.
☀️ Tips for listening to your body and trying to understand what it is telling you... like sneezing!
☀️ The non-negotiable practices that help keep her grounded throughout the day.

The Bible verse that encapsulates her vocation is: "Be still and know that I am God." ~ Psalm 23:1-2
